Haul-lo: 3ce (stylenanda) cosmetic

Around two months back, me and some friends decided to make a big purchase on stylenanda, since it is $20 flat rate shipping. Stylenanda is a Korean fashion brand and 3ce (3 concept eyes) is their cosmetic line, also Park Sora models for them. I kept hearing really good reviews on their makeup since this year, and especially with Hong Kong beauty bloggers
They have a wide range of different lip products and also many vibrant and neutral colors, and as a lipstick lover, it was really hard to restrict myself. Their black simple and sleek packaging really draws you in as well.
Everything was sealed with a sticker, which you know it's brand new

Creamy Waterproof Eyerliner #9 Wow Pink $13.21
Fresh Aqua Mist $4.40

Lip Color 406 Milky Tangerine $19.71
Lip Lacquer Bubblegum $20.81
Lip Marker #Red $16.51

All the prices are in USD

Swatches (R-L)
Lip marker (Red)
Lip Lacquer (Bubblegum)
Lipstick (Tangerine)
Eyeliner (Wow Pink)

Overall, I wouldn't say their products is cheap, it's reasonable. I have tested some products already, they are of great quality :) and the colors are pigmented and pretty. Let me know if you guys want a review on the products

WIT #Benefit Hello Flawless Powder Foundation

Hi guys, I'm gonna start doing more reviews from now on :) and call them "WIT#" which stands for What I Think, hope you like it.
I will be reviewing my holy grail powder- Benefit Hello Flawless Powder Foundation. Before you guys read on, I'm warning you there will be photos of my bare skin and let me tell you, it is not a good sight because I have heaps of acne and scarring. omgggg I can't believe I'm showing the world my bare skin :o

I love this powder so much that as soon as I hit pan, I bought a backup because I know I won't be able to live without it. Benefit also recently changed their packaging which I actually like better, but other than that everything is exactly the same. It comes with a sponge and a brush for application, but I much prefer my own brushes (real technique buffing brush). It also comes with a pamphlet telling you that the sponge will give you more coverage and the brush will be more sheer and light.

So what do I think about this...
Coverage
I prefer powder foundation over liquid because I like the matte and dry finish on my face and I own around 8-9 powders (MAC, Laura Mercier, Rimmel, Maybelline), I can say that Benefit gives the best and highest coverage. I would say it has a medium to high coverage, considering it is a powder foundation which of course won't be as good as liquid. After a bit of concealer and this powder, the redness of my face totally disappear and just a bit of the pigmented scars is visible.

Lasting Power
Once again, comparing to all my other powders, this last the longest. This powder last around 4 hours on my face before I can start feeling a bit of shine and for your reference, I have combination oily skin.

Colour
Benefit offers 8 shades which is pretty good and color range really caters for all skin tone. I'm in the color "Honey (I'm cute as a bunny)", which has a yellow undertone and matches my Asian skin perfectly. I was deciding between "Honey" and "Champagne" but I believe "Champagne" is leaning towards the pink undertone and is a tad lighter than "Honey".

Pros
  • medium coverage
  • light on skin
  • matte finish
  • long lasting (<4 hours)
  • wide color range
  • cute packaging
Cons
  • if over apply it can look cakey
  • not as much product as you thought
  • could be pricey
And here comes the photos, prepare yourself

Before concealer and powder :(
  After concealer
After powder, yeahhhhhhhh :D

If you live in Australia, I think this powder retails for $50-55, which is quite expensive for a powder in my opinion, since I do use powder everyday and that would mean I need to repurchase it more often. Thank goodness that the Benefit site does offer international shipping and if you purchase over $125 you can receive free shipping :) On the site, it retails for $34 which is a price I'm willing to pay for this baby because I seriously cannot live without it.

On the days that I know I will be out for a long time and on the days when my skin is doing really bad, I will whip this baby out because somehow it boosts up my self esteem, I guess it does make me feel 'Flawless' as it claims hahaha.

Covergirl outlast stay fabulous 3 in 1 Foundation

Covergirl outlast stay fabulous 3 in 1 foundation has finally made its way to Australia about a month or two ago. It retails for $19.95 at priceline which is not too bad compared to Revlon's colorstay ($34.95) and you can always wait until they have promotions.
It claims that it has a 'Lasting power of primer, coverage of a concealer and blendability of a foundation in one. Shine free.', and it has SPF 20.
Unfortunately, there are only 6 shades available for now. I got the colour in 825 Buff beige, which is a tiny bit light for me and a tiny bit pink for me after oxidising, since I have a really yellow undertone.

Blendability & Finish
It blends really well into my skin and dries up in less than 30 seconds after I applied it to my whole face. I usually hate how foundations takes forever to dry but this foundation feels like I have already applied powder onto my face. It's amazing!
I'm usually not a liquid foundation person because I hate it how you can feel there's a layer on your skin, but then all the reviews that I read were praising this foundation, so I gave in. AND I LOVE IT!

Lasting power
Most of the time I prefer powder foundation over liquid foundation because liquid can sometimes make me face looking a bit dewy after a while and I can feel even it when I touch my face and I'm someone who prefer a matte finish. This covergirl foundation really does control my shines, I can only feel my face getting a bit oily after 6-7 hours and I don't really have to blot until 8 hours later and I can still see my foundation sitting nicely on my face. It's only after 12 hours later I can see my foundation looking a bit patchy.

Coverage
I drew a '3' with a black liquid eyeliner to test out the coverage and yep it is definitely a high coverage foundation and definetly build-able and still wont look thick or patchy.

Pros
  • high coverage
  • light weight
  • matte finish (if you like it)
  • easily blended
  • long lasting (8 hours)
  • dries up within 30 seconds
  • doesn't have a strong scent
  • comes with a pump!
Cons
  • limited shades in Australia
  • It does leave a white cast on your face when you're taking flashed photography :(
I've used Revlon's colorstay previously and I would say Revlon's coverage is a bit better, but covergirl has a longer lasting power and it feels super light on your skin.
For referencing, I  have combination, acne prone skin and I got heaps of scars on my forehead and my right cheek.
For applying, I used my beauty blender which gives is a light and natural finish.
This foundation concealed my scars quite well and I only need a bit of concealer to cover some really dark scars. It also didn't break me out yeahhhhhh :)
Therefore I love it!!!!!!!

Pleather season

The past few months, I've been seeing pleather/leather clothing everywhere! In my opinion, a full leather piece of clothing can look quite out there, so I thought leather sleeves is the perfect amount for me!
One of my follower on instragram @eddictive suggested me this site http://www.whatiwear.com/profile/119892 where you can post up your outfits to share to the world and also look at other people's inspiring outfits. So it's really like lookbook but not as pro hahaha

Rimmel Apocalips lip lacquer

Rimmel's Apocalips are finally out in Australia, also known as Show off in America. It retails for $15.95 here, but you can also get it from asos for under $8. Some of the colours that we have in Aus is a bit different to America.

Top to bottom: Apocaliptic, Nova, Luna, Solstice (asos), Apocaliptic [for my friend]
When you first open the lipstick, the part shown in the photo is actually transparent and as you pull the applicator out, the colour fills that area. I found it pretty cool hahahaha
The applicator has a little hole in it which I found it quite interesting when applying to the lips
but then I think it grabs too much of the product
Apocaliptic: bright hot pink, it even appears as a red on my lips. I still don't have the guts to wear a true red lipstick out yet, so this is a good substitute for me now.
Solstice: Natural mauve colour, and to me it's a 'my lips but better' colour with my skintone
Luna: bright peach colour, better for the summer

Now to the pros and cons

PROS:
  • highly pigmented
  • creamy
  • mositurising
  •  good colour range (from bright to nude)
  • bright colour stains your lips
  • precise application with the applicator
CONS:
  • easily transfer
  • applicator grabs too much product
Even though it transfer easily, but if you blot it a bit then it's all good :)
