Uni's over

Last Thursday was my last day at uni, first year of uni done.
Now, I just got exams... and still haven't started studying.
Things to study: 
1. practise piano
2. psychology
3. listening music of the Medieval to Classical period

I'm so tired and stressed. I haven't been sleeping much and just realised exams are just around the corner...
Better start on my psychology lectures soon >< and need to push my practise

After my morning classes today I went to KIT at Myer to buy late birthday presents for my uni friends. I've read some good reviews on Kit's beauty blender, so I got one for my friend and some soap and glory hand stuff for my piano friend :) Makes me wanna get some too!
I also headed off to David Jones to check out The Balm and I am in love with the Cabana Boy blush >< it's this gorgeous deep rose colour

Exhausted

I have been so exhausted this whole week, since it was my birthday week and my weekend was just packed.
On Friday, I just couldn't stop sneezing and my nose was all red. not a great sight. And I got church youth group that night, since I'm a leader, and we just have a life group session where we discussed about James chapter 4.
And OMG, all the sudden my brother brought out an ice cream cake for me! it was a freddo ice cream cake :) He also gave me a present, so I thought it was mac mouse that I asked for. 
I felt really awkward opening present in front of everyone, since when I was little my parents told me that it is impolite to open presents in front of people. However, they insisted me to open it. 
I was literally speechless and got teary when I realised what was underneath those wrapping paper, it was a KINDLE!!!! say what!!!!!!!
I have been DYING to buy an ereader, either a kindle or a kobo. Since it was my birthday, I thought it would be a great timing to ask my parents to get me one. So I have been believing that my dad was gonna get it for me and then, my bro told me on friday morning that dad hasn't order online yet, and I was completely shattered. I was actually gonna buy it for myself, after what my brother told me because I really really really want an ereader, but somehow, my bro told me to wait first and blah. I'm surprised that I didn't get suspicious!
I haven't been thrown a surprise in a while, so I basically turned mute. At the same time I felt really bad, since 19th birthday is not that special so I didn't have big party, but my church friends got me a kindle! I am extremely grateful to have this loving brother and organised this surprise for me and my lovely church friends.
Apparently it seems like I was having a seizure...

Saturday
In the afternoon, I had to go back to church for cleaning. 
Around 3, I left from Box Hill to the City because I had a choir concert at the ABC building. Since I took choir as one of my subject, so if I don't go it means I fail the subject. 
We had a dress rehearsal from 4 - 5:30, then we get to go off for dinner until 8
My friends and I went to had pho and get chatime :)
The concert didn't finish until 10:20... oh! and we sang Carmina Burana by Carl Orff, it is such a beautiful piece but the choir sucks... because this choir subject anyone can join, it's not just music student. Seriously, it really pisses me off how some people can't sing and they still join choir, if you can't sight sing or sing in join please don't join...

Sunday
Yeahhh my favourite day of the week :) Church in the morning and then I had to rush to Knox for a training at Kikki.K 
Yes, I got a job at Kikki.K for Christmas Casual, I really hope I can do well, so they can extend me to a casual or part time ><
They have so many productsssss, so I have to learn all of them before my next shift! It felt really quiet and relaxing compared to working as a waitress... 
The manager inducted me about each section and we did some scenario/role playing. It's really hard to be a sales, since you need to be really careful with your words depending of the customer mood. I really wanna do well in this area! I can do it!
Standing for three hours was actually pretty tiring.... 
and now I guess it is time for some intense piano practising :) somehow I have been craving to practise... 

Thai Food

Last night I finally get to celebrate my birthday with the Fobsies and tow of my favourite girls :Angel & Nadine
We had dinner at this Siam Village with two of my favourite girls: Angel & Nadine
After working at Paradise road, which is a Thai fine dinning restaurant, I have been OBSESSED with Thai food, so I went to a Thai place for my birthday dinner :)

So how did I spend the rest of my birthday yesterday?

well, I went back to uni for the exam/performance and it turned out WAY more enjoyable than I expected, I really quite like it :)

I reckon my group was probably the best.... since we didn't just present our research, but we put it into a little play. I was a nun from the Medieval period who wrote a piece about the spiritual battle, this is probably not very interesting...

I would say it is a pretty a good exam to have on your birthday :) My lovely friends Dana and Wynne got me a blush from smashbox and a kook black hot chocolate with extra chocolate. I didn't expect that at all! and I was so surprised that they remembered I wanted a blush that is darkish to use as a bronzing blush, hmm does that make sense? and thanks to my group for making the night fun and memorable <3

I got back to Glen Waverley around 9:45pm and met up with Angel to try out this new place called Monga. Apparently all the chefs are Japanese and even the waitress! Even though it was a little over priced, but the desserts are soooooo good. Especially the Brown Sugar Pudding, so smooth and sweet :)

I seriously do have the best best friend that anyone could have, she didn't only give me one volume of the Beethoven piano sonata but TWOOOOOO!!!! Is it weird that I super happy and excited to receive piano music for my birthday, instead some other girly stuff like makeup, clothes, whatever?

She also made me this AMAZING collegue, complying photos of me and my love ones. She is such a sweet girl :')

It was also a plus that the Benefit order I made online arrived :D First benefit products!

So today, I was invited to an interview with Myer for the brand benefit. OMGG, I know right!

I am so amazed that I was even able to be invited to an interview with them!

It was a group interview with other cosmetic brands as well, so not only benefit. They had like Georgia Armani, Clarins, Chanel, OPI and others

They told us to dress business-like, but I realised wearing a blazer, tight skirt, high heels is really not my thing....

Don't think I was successful though :( Felt like I didn't do my best, didn't participate much... but I really want the job.

Now that I'm 19, I feel pretty much the same... wait that means I will be 20 next year :S
didn't have a too great start on my birthday, had a little fight with the boyfriend before I went off to bed. But all good now :)
He came over to my house at 10am and we went out to 'breakfast's Mocha Jo's around 11:15 hehehe
As a consistent member of Chatime of course I can't miss out my free drink on my birthday :) Ended up buying drinks for my Gary and Tiff.
Headed over to Tiff's and chat until 2:30.

Now I'm just practising my part for tonight's exam/concert/presentation for the 'Medieval to Early Modern Music' subject. We will be singing Medieval and Renaissance pieces tonight, very interesting...
I do admit that I'm kinda upset that this exam has to fall on my birthday, that means I can't have dinner with my love ones. But I guess 19 is nothing big anyway, and I already had dinner and cut cake with my family last night, plus Gary already spent half of the day with me :) good enough.

Finally a sunny day to match the season.
I have recently discovered that I quite like wearing sunglasses :D especially those circle ones even though it looks pedo on me.
I had to caked up to go to church today because I need to take passport photos afterwards
